The idea came out of conversations with registrars and the doctors training alongside them. The same theme kept surfacing: AI is turning up in the consult room whether or not anyone feels ready for it, and the doctors it will shape the most, the ones forming their clinical habits now, have had the least say in how it works.
GPRA represents the future GP and RG workforce. Lyrebird builds tools many of them will use from their first consult onwards. So the two came together to work on it directly: understanding what GPRA members actually need from clinical AI, shaping the product around what they say, and feeding what we learn back to the profession.
