If AVT is the foundation,
then what is the destination?

Most NHS organisations are treating ambient voice technology as a near-term tactical priority. But what is the strategic plan for this technology in two, four, or ten years?

Here's what happened when our panel asked: if AVT is the foundation, what's the destination?

Ambient voice technology is moving fast. But is your strategy keeping up?

Most NHS organisations have AVT on their roadmap. Having the technology is one thing. Having a plan for where it takes you in two, four, even ten years is a different conversation entirely. That is the conversation our panel sat down to have.

They looked past the note to where AVT goes next: an intelligence layer that reads across the whole patient record, more autonomous clinical workflows, and even the signals carried in a patient's voice. They were just as candid about today, agreeing that the hardest part of deploying at scale is rarely the technology. It is the organisational change around it, and earning clinical trust. And they took on the harder questions too: how the NHS buys and partners well without a race to the bottom, and how to keep the patient at the centre.

Whether your organisation is just getting started or already scaling, it is a conversation worth watching.
